  • Cash in US Dollars and Lempiras Roatán uses both currencies. The current exchange rate is around 25.50 to 26 Lempiras per $1 USD.

Bring extra cash, since ATMs are limited — there’s only one in West Bay and one in West End. Some small shops and restaurants only accept cash.
